Expressed interest or previous experience working with young children is recommended
Computer experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and Publisher
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
ECE Certificate or AA in Early Childhood
Preferred: Bachelors in education or social services field
Preferred: FRC trained (if not then SPARC along with Early Support for Infant and Toddlers will train to become and FRC)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A current CPR and First Aid Certificate, Food Handler’s Permit (or to be scheduled for completion within SPARC personnel guidelines and or outside agency)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Include the following but are not limited to, other duties may be assigned)
Conduct initial screening and home visits from initiated referrals for SPARC
Conduct initial IFSP’s (Entry Child Outcome Summary COS) for children and carry an active caseload of 15 IFSP’s
Conduct IFSP reviews, annuals, transition conferences and exit COS
Enter all data into the ESIT DMS in a timely manner (if not trained, Supervisor will train)
Attend weekly Birth-3 MDT meetings
Attend weekly preschool MDT meetings
Complete necessary requirements to continue as an FRC
Complete all necessary paperwork according to ESIT requirements and timelines
Conduct all public awareness in Skagit County including, distribution of EI pamphlets, attend community events and host community events
Gather necessary resources for children and families
Collaborate with SLP’s, OT’s, contracted PT, and other FRC’s in SPARC
Keep abreast of all new ESIT guidance’s with support from Supervisor
Attend any necessary trainings and report back to necessary individuals or providers
Ensure that all necessary packets are in order for distribution
Willingness to work with a variety of children and families
ADDITIONAL DUTIES OUTSIDE OF FRC RESPONSIBILITIES
Attend Meetings as needed
Collaborate with Preschool Coordinator
