PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intermediate Care team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals requiring a higher level of monitoring and treatment than a medical-surgical unit, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients in a progressive care/step-down setting.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with professional nursing standards.
- Support patient safety, quality improvement, and excellent patient experiences.
Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- One year of recent (within the past 36 months) Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, or Step-Down RN experience, or currently oriented and independently practicing within the department
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Additional acute care nursing experience
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire
