Our busy, family-centered Women's Services program includes:

  • 10 labor and delivery suites
  • 13 postpartum rooms
  • 2 dedicated operating rooms
  • Nearly 2,000 births annually
  • An Obstetric Emergency Department dedicated to maternal and fetal care

You'll care for patients across a wide range of obstetric needs, from routine deliveries to high-acuity situations requiring rapid assessment and intervention.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being utilizing evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate closely with providers, neonatal teams, anesthesiologists, and fellow caregivers
  • Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing experience
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record
  • Delegate and coordinate care appropriately among team members
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and professional development initiatives

What You'll Bring Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • MINIMUM of one year of recent Labor & Delivery experience, or currently oriented and able to provide independent care within the department
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire

Required Within Six Months of Hire

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
