As an ICU Stepdown RN, you'll play a critical role in providing compassionate, high-quality care for patients with complex medical needs. You'll:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Delegate and coordinate care appropriately
- Document care accurately within the electronic health record
- Support quality, safety, and patient-centered care initiatives
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- At least one year of recent Progressive Care, Stepdown, or Intermediate Care RN experience (within the last 36 months), or current competency to practice independently in the department
- BSN
- Previous leadership experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
