Compensation
The salary range for this position is $45.78 - $82.98 per hour.

As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide direct patient care across a wide range of acuity levels while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, effective treatment and positive patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care
- Performing rapid assessments and prioritizing treatment based on patient acuity
- Documenting care accurately and efficiently within the electronic health record
- Coordinating care with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary team members
- Delegating patient care activities appropriately based on team member competency and scope of practice
- Promoting patient safety, quality outcomes, and exceptional patient experiences
- Participating in quality improvement, infection prevention, and departmental initiatives
- Maintaining clinical excellence through ongoing education and professional development
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage:
- Cardiac patients
- Complex medical-surgical patients
- Pediatric patients
- Multiple trauma patients
- Proven clinical competence and strong critical thinking skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
The following certifications are required within the specified timeframe:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 12 months
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Strong emergency nursing assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- A patient- and family-centered approach to care
- The ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration and trust
- Basic computer proficiency
- Knowledge of age-specific care principles across the lifespan
