PeaceHealth | Full-Time | 0.90 FTE | Night Shift

PeaceHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical 3 Medical-Surgical Unit, offering additional training and support designed to help you build confidence and thrive in an acute care environment. Whether you're bringing non-acute nursing experience or looking to expand your acute care skills, this opportunity provides a strong foundation for professional growth while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Pay Range: $45.78 - $82.98 per hour

Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, training, experience, seniority, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Hiring bonus and relocation assistance may be available.

What You'll Do

As a member of the Surgical 3 team, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Document patient care accurately within the electronic health record.
  • Coordinate and delegate care appropriately among team members.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and fellow caregivers to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, and department initiatives.
  • Continue developing your clinical expertise through ongoing education and professional development.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.

Experience

  • Preferred: One year of non-acute RN experience, or
  • Preferred: Six months of acute care RN experience, or
  • Currently oriented and able to practice independently within a nursing department.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
