Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pay Range: $45.78 to $82.98 per hour, DOE

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our high-performing team. Our Emergency Department features a 48-bed Level II Trauma Center supported by board-certified emergency physicians available 24/7. From complex medical emergencies and trauma cases to pediatric and cardiac care, you'll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing life-saving care when patients need it most.

What You'll Do

As an Emergency Department RN, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
  • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic health record.
  • Coordinate and delegate care appropriately among members of the care team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
  • Support quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, and departmental initiatives.
  • Maintain professional growth through continuing education and development opportunities.

What You'll Bring Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Minimum of one year of recent Emergency Department experience or current competency to practice independently in an emergency setting.
  • Proven ability to independently manage:
    • Cardiac patients
    • Complex medical-surgical patients
    • Pediatric patients
    • Trauma patients
Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required Certifications

  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS within 6 months of hire
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) within 12 months of hire
