RN Training - Intermediate Care | Full-Time Nights Join PeaceHealth and Grow Your Nursing Career

Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing journey? PeaceHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse Trainee to join our Intermediate Care 4 South team in a Full-Time (0.90 FTE), Night Shift role.

Whether you're looking to expand your clinical expertise or transition into intermediate care, this position offers additional training, mentorship, and ongoing support to help you develop confidence and thrive in your practice.

Hiring Bonus and Relocation Assistance may be available.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $45.78 - $82.98 per hour, depending on factors such as education, training, experience, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement, and multiple openings may be available.

What You'll Do

As an RN on our Intermediate Care team, you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional practice standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Delegate and coordinate care activities while supporting team success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-centered care environment.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Recent experience (within the last 36 months) in a Progressive Care, Step-Down, or Intermediate Care setting, or currently oriented and independently caring for patients within a similar department

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer proficiency

The following certifications are required within six months of hire:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
