What You'll Do
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Serve as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Delegate and coordinate care according to team member competencies
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives
- Pursue ongoing professional development and education opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire
- Two years of OR circulating experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a Periop 101 course within six months
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Scrub experience
- Demonstrated expertise in perioperative nursing practice
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative surgical environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
