MRI Technologist – Full Time (0.9 FTE, Night Shift)PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center

📍 Bellingham, WA

💲 $50.16-$75.29/hour + $4.50/hr night shift differential

🕒 Full Time | 0.90 FTE | Shift lengths may include both 10- and 12-hour shifts

💼 Union-represented role. Multiple openings may be available.

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center is hiring a Full-Time MRI Technologist for a 0.9 FTE night shift position. This role performs routine and advanced MRI exams while providing safe, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.

Pay & Differentials

  • Base pay: $50.16-$75.29/hour (Pay based on experience, education, and union agreement)
  • Night differential: +$4.50/hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized MRI examinations
  • Prepare patients and equipment for exams
  • Review clinical history and prior imaging to select proper protocols
  • Operate MRI equipment and ensure image quality
  • Follow ACR MRI safety guidelines at all times
  • Perform venipuncture and contrast administration as required
  • Document exams accurately in PACS/RIS

Required Qualifications

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program

Experience

  • MRI or radiology experience preferred (1+ year)
  • Venipuncture competency required
  • Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols
  • Ability to work with PACS/RIS and computer-based imaging systems

Certification & Licensure

  • ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), ARRT (S) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification required at hire OR
  • ARMRIT certification accepted
  • ARRT (MR) required within 18 months of hire if not already obtained
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist licensure required at hire
  • BLS certification required
