Are you a CT Technologist looking for a slower pace, a close‑knit community, and meaningful work? PeaceHealth United General Medical Center in Sedro‑Woolley, Washington is hiring an experienced CT Technologist for a full-time (1.0 FTE) day position in a welcoming, patient-focused environment.

Schedule

  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

This position is the sole technologist on duty on weekends, so prior experience and the ability to work independently are important.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform routine and specialized CT and X-ray procedures
  • Select appropriate exams based on patient information and physician consultation
  • Educate patients before and after exams
  • Adapt exams to meet patient care needs
  • Operate CT equipment, including image acquisition, reconstruction, and quality control
  • Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety standards
  • Screen patients for pregnancy when appropriate
  • Perform interventional procedures following AORN standards
  • Support staff and student training as needed
  • Complete other duties within scope of practice

What You’ll Bring

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Radiography certification (required at hire)
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist license (required at hire)
  • CT experience preferred
  • Advanced CT certification required within 1 year of hire
  • BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • At least 1 year of experience preferred
  • Venipuncture competency
  • Working knowledge of PACS/RIS
