What You’ll Do
As a Cardiovascular Technologist in our Cath Lab, you’ll play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiac and vascular disease. You will:
- Assist physicians with a full range of invasive procedures
- Perform related imaging techniques to confirm catheter position and document findings
- Scrub in to support guide wires, catheters, contrast injections, and other specialty procedures
- Complete pre-procedure patient care
- Monitor patient status and document procedure progress
- Maintain a sterile field and operate specialized clinical equipment
What You Bring
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Tech or Radiologic Tech program —or— a combination of education/experience that supports certification requirements
- ARRT‑R or RCIS required
- ARRT‑R candidates must obtain ARRT‑CV or ARRT‑CI + ARRT‑VI within 1 year
- Appropriate state licensure
- BLS (AHA or Red Cross) required on hire
- ACLS required within 6 months
