PeaceHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Palliative Care team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, Washington.

Work in our beautiful Commission-on-Cancer Accredited Cancer Center in collaboration with a medical assistant, social worker, nurse, pharmacist, and chaplain. The new clinician will be working in the cancer center addressing palliative care needs of cancer patients as well as doing some home visits for non-cancer patients with COPD, cardiology or neurology. The new clinician will be the sole palliative care outpatient provider working under the supervision of the Palliative Care Team which includes two palliative care physicians and an inpatient palliative care nurse practitioner.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or NCCPA-Certified Physician Assistant, preferably with post-training experience in Palliative Care
• Licensure in the State of Washington or ability to obtain.

• First year salary amount: $125,278.40 - $148,886.40 depending on experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician.
