Qualifications:

• We are specifically seeking a Field Surveyor with 2-3 years of experience collecting field data for boundary and topographic surveys using Trimble Total Stations and GPS/GNSS receivers.

Responsibilities:

• Collect field data as directed by Survey Project Managers
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of field data
• Maintain survey instruments and perform minor adjustments
• Keep orderly field notes of daily activities
• Upload and download data files and otherwise manage data efficiently
• Communicate with Project Managers and drafters on survey projects
• Read, understand, and interpret survey maps and construction plans

Experience and Required Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of Field Surveying experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with the following is a plus:
  • Trimble Survey Equipment
  • Trimble Business Center, Realworks, and Sync
  • Autodesk Civil 3d
  • Faro Laser Scanners
  • UAV Pilot Certification
• Abilities and familiarity with computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and email
• Excellent communication (written and verbal in English) and interpersonal skills with the ability to function as a productive team member.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to walk over uneven surfaces, stand or sit for extended periods of time, stoop, crawl, crouch, climb, lift up to 50 pounds for short periods, carry survey equipment and supplies through all types of terrain, see both far and near objects and exhibit manual and physical dexterity.

Compensation:

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Daily stipend for expenses.
