WECU is seeking a Product Manager, Business Digital Banking to join our Digital Products department in Bellingham, WA. This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of WECU’s Online business banking systems. These systems must support WECU’s mobile first philosophy, strategic initiatives and offer exceptional value to our members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages the Business Digital Banking systems and the various integrations within those platforms. Leads implementation efforts for upgrades, system releases, and new products and services.
  • Partners with the Director, Digital Products to develop, define and execute a strategy that leads to increased member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Oversees the team assigned to the Business Digital Banking systems.
  • Leads complex technical projects that involve multiple departments and third-party vendors.
  • Understands the technologies and integration options that are available and recommends the best option to meet members needs and organizational initiatives.
  • Responds to and resolves the more complex member problems.
  • Responsible for online and mobile banking system training and communication to ensure staff have adequate system knowledge so they can properly inform and educate members of these services.
  • Acts as a liaison to internal WECU teams regarding online and mobile banking issues and improvements.
  • As a vendor relationship manager, monitor all vendor contracts and service agreements, hold vendors accountable for their actions, and perform detailed responsibilities as noted in WECU’s board-approved vendor management policy.
  • Follow policy and procedures related to Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations. Follow policy and procedures related to SARs by reporting suspicious activity to the Compliance department. Completes mandatory BSA/AML annual training via online web course.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Follows WECU’s policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and may also assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum three years of experience in product and/or channel management role in a financial institution, digital product, or within a direct-to-consumer or retail environment required.
  • Minimum three years of experience with self-service, digital channel development, implementation and management required.
  • Ability to research and compile information for the purpose of leading digital experience strategies and member facing experiences.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to operate computer hardware and detect and resolve operational problems.
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple jobs simultaneously.
  • Ability to represent the Credit Union in a positive, professional manner in person, on the telephone, and in written correspondence.
  • Ability to work accurately with figures and perform detailed work.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range for this position is $93,998. to $140,997. annually.
