Job Summary

The Receptionist is responsible for duties such as answering phones, assisting walk-in clients, data entry and general clerical support. This is a fully in-person position in Bellingham, WA.


  • Answers telephones and transfers calls
  • Greets & assists clients as requested
  • Processes outgoing mail and distributes incoming mail
  • Opens and closes office
  • Prepares and processes scanning/copy projects
  • Sets appointments
  • Routes documents
  • Light preparation of letters, memos, etc
  • Assists with special projects
  • Maintains neat common areas including kitchen and loading dishwasher
  • Time entry
  • Ensures that copiers are functioning and stocked
  • Monitors that telephones, telephone system, postage machine, fax machines, shared printers, and common area furnishings are functioning and in good repair and brings issues to attention of IT and Facility Coordinator
  • Backs up other administrative roles as needed
  • Occasionally takes mail to the Post Office
  • Other clerical assistance & duties as assigned

  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or in coordination with other administrative or management professionals
  • Understands and maintains the confidentiality of all information
  • Ability to effectively utilize multi-line telephone system


Based out of the Bellingham, WA office.

COVID considerations

All high touch surfaces are sanitized several times daily, PPE is provided including masks and gloves.

Job Type/Duration

Full Time/Permanent


$18 - $20 per hour/DOE
