What will you learn?
As a member of a progressive firm that utilizes technology to advance business practices, you’ll see what it’s like to work on a team that is on the leading edge of the industry. This real-world experience will be a chance to see how the accounting field has shifted from being tax and compliance focused to being proactive business advisers. You’ll have a chance to be involved in the planning and scheduling of engagements, participate in client meetings, assume some client responsibility, discuss strategies related to client scenarios, and develop customized plans for client needs under the supervision of firm Managers and Partners and with peer support and collaboration.
Interns are invited to participate in firm practice development through involvement with referral sources, community, and industry activities. You’ll be exposed to practice management including recruiting, training, technology, and marketing. You’ll gain valuable practice in a broad range of focus areas including A&A, tax, tax research, and niche areas of international taxation and state & local taxation.
Our internship experience provides a meaningful introduction to our firm – which has broad expertise in all fields of accounting, yet is still small and personable enough to allow you to work closely with professionals at all levels of our firm.
