Job Description: Expeditor/Food Runner

Job Type: Part-time, hourly

Compensation: DOE

Additional Compensation: Tips, employee discounts on food, beer, cider, and merch

Terramar Brewstillery is a locally focused brewery, cidery, distillery, serving wood fire pizzas, small bites,

and salads using the best ingredients from the Skagit Valley. We offer a collaborative, positive, and friendly work environment. We are looking to hire a hard-working expeditor/food runner and a bonus if

you have some retail experience. Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to work well with and learn from others. Must be able to work weekends.

Job Responsibilities:

 Deliver food orders to customers quickly and accurately

 Uphold sanitation and food safety principles

 Bus tables by removing dirty dishes and trash

 Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory

 Relay reports of customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties

 Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food

 Handle various impromptu requests from customers

 Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned and waiting for the next party

 Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Qualifications/Skills:

 Basic written and verbal communication skills

 Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

 Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift

 Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves

 Follows directions and instructions

 Communicate and work well as a team member

 Positive attitude and flexibility is a must

 Strong attention to detail

 Mandatory weekend availability

 Washington state food handlers’ card
