Job Description: Are you a go-getter with a flair for organization and a knack for problem-solving? The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is seeking an enthusiastic Program Manager. In this pivotal role, you'll be the heartbeat of the festival, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorship Development & Management:
    • Conduct sponsor outreach and form strategic partnerships to enhance festival support and engagement.
    • Oversee sponsorship management, including onboarding new sponsors, maintaining communications, and ensuring all deliverables are tracked and fulfilled.
    • Coordinate project management tasks related to sponsorships to ensure timely completion and satisfaction of sponsor agreements.
  2. Project Management:
    • Manage timelines and documentation for various festival projects.
    • Assign tasks and ensure all team/board members are on track to meet project deadlines.
  3. Executive Assistance:
    • Support the Director by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and following up on action items.
    • Manage correspondence, draft communications, and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
  4. Bookkeeping:
    • Perform basic accounting tasks including weekly categorizations, managing expenses, and helping with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R).
  5. Marketing Assistance:
    • Help manage the content calendar for all marketing activities, ensuring timely and strategic content launches.
    • Coordinate with the Executive Director to schedule and publish content across various platforms, including social media, website, and email campaigns.
  6. Order Fulfillment and Shopify Management:
    • Handle order fulfillment for both in-store and online orders, including managing inventory and processing orders through Shopify.
    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of supplies as needed.
  7. Office Administration:
    • Perform general office duties (ordering supplies, managing equipment, organizing workspace).
    • Support the team with miscellaneous administrative tasks.
  8. General Contact/Point Person:
    • Serve as the primary contact for general inquiries, sponsor questions, and communication through the info inbox.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, including sponsors, vendors, and festival attendees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Event Management, Marketing, Office Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience managing marketing campaigns, content calendars, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Go-getter attitude with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position based in Mount Vernon, WA.
  • Pay: $25-30/hr
