Job Summary:

The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible to the Department Director or Manager and is to be clinically competent; delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

License / Certifications:

Washington State RN License required. Washington State RN License required. Current AHA (American Heart Association) Health Care BLS Provider required. ECG class required within the first 12 months of hire, and maintain competency annually. Certification in Med/Surg, cardiac/telemetry or pediatric experience preferred.

Experience/Training:

Registered nurse with a minimum of two years’ experience in acute care and pediatric nursing preferred. Experience may be substituted by completion of the SRH Nurse Residency Program.
