Building Custodian

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(Include the following but are not limited to, other duties may be assigned)
- Ability to understand verbal and/or written instructions
- Must be able to read, follow and understand safety procedures
- Unlocks doors, ensuring doors are locked after cleaning areas
- Vacuum carpets, hardwood and or linoleum floors.
- Mop hardwood and/or linoleum floors
- Wipe down/ sanitize restrooms including counters, toilets, mirrors and floor
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels and any other supplies that apply
- Empty all trash receptacles throughout building or suites and dispose in outside dumpster
- Dispose recyclables in outside recycle bin if needed
- Wipe down bookshelves, file cabinets, desks and other furniture pieces as needed
- Performs cleaning functions specific to facilities and or buildings as requested
- Ability to perform other miscellaneous tasks as given

- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of Insurance
