The company operates Agronomy, Propane, Refined Fuels, and Wholesale divisions, as well as retail Country Store locations in Washington and Montana. The company is seeking candidates for an Administrative Specialist at its Main Office in Burlington, WA.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Ideal candidates will possess an extremely high level of attention to detail, initiative, discretion and independent judgment with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task. Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Operate a multi-line telephone system
• Assist customers with billing, service and payment questions
• Perform general accounts payable and receivable duties with a high degree of accuracy for multiple divisions
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts
• Visit other local businesses (e.g. bank, post office, office supply stores, etc.)
• Provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate a high level of ownership and accountability for resolving issues in a professional manner.
• Exhibit an ability to receive feedback, adapt to new processes and continuously develop skills
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate, communicate well and effectively relay information with an emphasis on developing positive professional relationships
• Practice punctual and reliable attendance
• Perform other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years accounts payable experience
• Experience working with Windows operating system and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrate strong organizational, multi-tasking, analytical, investigative and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, high standards and strong internal and external customer service
• Proven track record of being dependable, with the ability to self-manage, exercise good judgment and exhibit a desire to grow professionally
• Lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment
• Possess a valid driver license and maintain a safe driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• College courses in accounting, business administration or similar field of study
• 3+ years’ experience performing general administrative duties
• Possess intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
SCHEDULE
Full-time, 40 hours/week. Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must be available to work
evenings and/or weekends as needed.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$22.00- $27.00/hour. After meeting eligibility requirements, benefits include:
