Job Description

Summary of Position

The Warehouse Packer is responsible for preparing our finished solar panels for shipment. This includes stretch-wrapping and strapping panels, moving them around our facility using pallet jacks and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Palletize, wrap and strap finished goods in preparation for shipment.

• Operate pallet jacks to move panels to correct staging areas

• Clean and prepare workstation and machines.

• Complete other tasks as required and/or directed.

• Maintain compliance with established standard work instructions.

Skills

• Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, ability to distinguish between colors.

• Problem solving ability.

• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions in English.

• Ability to lift objects less than 25 pounds and team lift objects approximately 60 pounds.

Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent

• One or more years of warehouse experience, preferred

• Forklift and/or pallet jack experience preferred
