YOUR DAY AS A CUSTODIAN

You have a direct impact on our reputation by keeping our restrooms and common areas pristine, as the Port's seasonal Custodian. Whether it's sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, taking out the trash, or cleaning surfaces, you get great satisfaction out of checking each task off one by one and being able to physically see what you've accomplished. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 18 years old or older
• Strong customer service skills
• Good computer skills
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position
• Ability to read and speak English

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time seasonal position typically works Thursday - Monday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, including weekends and holidays.

SEASONAL STAFF BONUS PROGRAM

Seasonal employees who work 440+ hours in the peak season (April-October) will be eligible for a $1,000 end-of-season bonus paid on their last paycheck, a $2,500 tuition stipend paid directly to an accredited college, university, academy, or trade school, or a $3,000 tuition stipend for a maritime-related program paid directly to an accredited college, university, academy, or trade school.
