Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified Psychiatry MD/DO from an ACGME accredited program
• Interest in working on as as-needed Relief (per diem) basis with a collaborative inpatient Behavioral Health team providing psychiatric services on our 20-bed inpatient unit as well as consults for patients in other inpatient units (ED consults are rare)

Practice Highlights

• Collegial team of 4 FTE physicians, 2 Relief (per diem) physicians, 1 Psychologist, 1 NP
• Average case load is 7-8 patients per day in the unit; maximum of 10
• Epic EHR

Tour the San Juan Islands by sea kayak or sailboat. Trek the North Cascades on foot. Stay in town to explore the shops and cafes of historic Fairhaven and Downtown and then catch a show at Mount Baker Theater – you can do it all in Bellingham!
