Requisition Summary
A PACCAR Technical Center (PTC) Structural Validation manager mentors and guides a high-performance team in providing structural validation support for PACCAR truck development programs. Responsibilities of this job include evaluating and delegating projects, reviewing results, providing support and training for PACCAR Technical Center (PTC) structural validation team and interfacing with other PACCAR divisions.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Ensure proper structural validation for PACCAR truck programs.
- Receive, evaluate, and assign project requests in support of truck division development programs
- Communicate project scheduling, issues, and progress with customers
- Cooperate with other PTC groups to gather appropriate test data
- Maintain latest knowledge of structural test and validation in heavy duty truck industry
- Support, create and maintain departmental procedures
- Maintain department budget
- Develop and Maintain Department Metrics
- Assess operational needs (processes, staffing, equipment) and provide inputs to management
Qualifications
- Proven background in structural mechanics
- Strong experience in structural test and validation in heavy truck industry
- Project management experience
- Strong communication skills, including presentations
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
Education
Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
