Position Summary

This position involves developing and implementing individualized educational programs that address the educational needs of secondary-age students with severe behavioral disabilities or the remediation of social/emotional, educational, and prevocational/vocational skill deficits for a group of at-risk students in an alternative setting.

This position is 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week. This is a temporary leave replacement for through January 15, 2027. Estimated 85 days beginning approximately September 1.

A 4% regionalization pay has been calculated and added to the listed pay range.

Time will be spent in the Open Doors Sedro Woolley location.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor’s Degree and teacher preparation program; Washington State teaching certificate with English or Social Studies endorsement; Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain; WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance.

Preferred: English or Social Studies endorsement.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted which provides the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
