Position Summary

The Migrant Reengagement Case Manager works to identify and respond to the unique needs of migrant students in an effort to reengage, complete high school/GED; and pursue postsecondary education or employment/life goals. They provide face-to-face services for migrant youth and migrant out-of-school youth and make community connections to help support them with resources they need for accessing, understanding, and continuing within the K-12 education system and post-secondary education/opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field human services, education, social work, etc. Two years providing case management, counseling, or related services to at-risk youth or migrant students in an educational setting preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish required, Trilingual preferred. WSP/FBI criminal history background clearance required. Valid Washington State driver’s license and proof of liability insurance required.
Employment Conditions and Benefits
This is a temporary position. 8 hours per day, 43 days total. Start date: as soon as possible. Location is to be determined.
Spanish/English bilingual required. Trilingual preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Work is performed primarily in an office environment; however, travel is required (including some overnight travel) to school districts across western Washington for workshops, meetings, and conferences. Personal vehicle is required for transportation to various sites. Sitting and standing for extended periods of time may be required. Lifts and carries a maximum of 40 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech, and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.
Hazards: Those present in a normal office environment. Routine travel may pose potential hazards including driving in inclement weather.

Salary Range
