Quality Control & Materials Technical Services Lead – Burlington

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor day-to-day quality control field personnel.
- Perform and interpret aggregate and concrete materials testing.
- Monitor compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, WSDOT, and project specifications.
- Optimize mix designs and analyze material source performance trends.
- Review quality records, laboratory data, and certification documentation.
- Analyze statistical data to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Resolve quality complaints by determining root causes and corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration records for all laboratory and field-testing equipment.
- Provide technical support to sales, dispatch, operations, and project teams.
- Coordinate submittals for product qualification and materials approval.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Material Science, Geology, or in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of directly related field experience.
- Experience: 5+ years concrete/aggregate testing; 2+ years supervisory experience.
- Certifications: Active ACI, ASTM, WAQTC Certifications.
- Technical Skills: Strong math and data analysis skills with advanced MS Office proficiency. Experience with Stonemont software is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills across all organizational levels.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and transport test equipment and samples.
- Logistics: Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and travel to regional sites.
- Driver’s License: Valid WA State license with a clean, insurable driving record.

- $45.00 to $52.00 per hour.
