Quality Control & Materials Technical Services Lead – Burlington

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and mentor day-to-day quality control field personnel.
• Perform and interpret aggregate and concrete materials testing.
• Monitor compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, WSDOT, and project specifications.
• Optimize mix designs and analyze material source performance trends.
• Review quality records, laboratory data, and certification documentation.
• Analyze statistical data to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Resolve quality complaints by determining root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration records for all laboratory and field-testing equipment.
• Provide technical support to sales, dispatch, operations, and project teams.
• Coordinate submittals for product qualification and materials approval.
• Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Material Science, Geology, or in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of directly related field experience.
• Experience: 5+ years concrete/aggregate testing; 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Certifications: Active ACI, ASTM, WAQTC Certifications.
• Technical Skills: Strong math and data analysis skills with advanced MS Office proficiency. Experience with Stonemont software is a plus.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills across all organizational levels.
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and transport test equipment and samples.
• Logistics: Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and travel to regional sites.
• Driver’s License: Valid WA State license with a clean, insurable driving record.

What We Offer:

• $45.00 to $52.00 per hour.
