Mechanic – Diesel – Oak Harbor
Company: Miles Sand & Gravel
Location: Oak Harbor WA
Position Type: Full Time Monday - Friday, some Saturdays
Hours: 6:00 am to 4:00 pm
Application Closing Date: February 28, 2024 or until filled
Compensation: $29.18 to $38.85 DOE
Job Description:
- Duties range from basic service and inspections to major engine work.
- Must have working knowledge of heavy equipment, diesel engines, trucks, trailers, mixer trucks, hydraulics, transmissions, undercarriage, pneumatic, electrical and fuel systems.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience on trucks and yellow iron.
- Computer diagnostic systems knowledge beneficial.
- Welding and fabricating a plus.
- Must have your own tools.
- Must be a team player with a good work ethic.
- Clean, insurable driving record, CDL beneficial
- Drug Free.
