Join Our Team as a Transportation Administrator

🚀 About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-loving, logistics pro to join our team as a Transportation Administrator. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy coordinating people and processes while providing amazing customer service, this one’s for you.

🕒
Hours:
8am -4 pm M-F with occasional weekend driver communications

🧩 What You'll Be Doing

• ✅ Delivering outstanding customer service – schedule pickups, answer questions, and resolve transportation issues.

• ✅ Making ferry and other travel reservations for our drivers.

• ✅ Communicating with drivers throughout the day to ensure smooth operations.

• ✅ Supporting billing, compliance, and recordkeeping.

• ✅ Backing up dispatch during absences and jumping into other logistics tasks as needed.
  

Additional Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the BP South route and shop communications

• Create border paperwork as needed.

• Verify daily driver times with UKG

• Handle fuel card ordering, distribution, and management

• Set up and troubleshoot driver tablets and essential apps

• Assist with dispatch software and learn the ropes of yard operations

• Respond to drivers/customers professionally – often multiple times a day

• Field occasional after-hours calls or tasks

• Learn and support FMCSA/DOT compliance and transport regulations

• Resolve on-site driver/customer issues directly to streamline communication

• Maintain ongoing communication with recurring service customers

• Update jobs, track swaps, and document job notes

• Work with our team to support Demo jobs:

• Dispatching and job creation

• Preparing Excel sheets and demo workbooks

• Being the point of contact and calendar coordinator

• Coordinate dry load communication with Gypsum

• Enter and dispatch weekly bale routes (NWR side)

🙌 What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in transportation, dispatching, or customer service

• Strong multitasking and communication skills

• Comfortable using (or learning) dispatching software and Microsoft Office

• Friendly, solution-focused team player with a “let’s make it happen” mindset
