Position Title: Large Storage Container Business Manager
Location: Bellingham / Hybrid
Reports To: Ownership
Position Overview: The Storage Container Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations, sales, and marketing of a business specializing in large storage containers. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and extensive experience in the storage or logistics industry. The Business Manager will ensure the efficient management of resources, drive business growth, and maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience in a similar role can be in place of degree
- The ability to be the business manager of this division and act creatively in achieving business goals is a key characteristic for success.
- Able to balance the best interests of the company and customers plans and strategies is also required
- Proven experience in a management role within the storage, logistics, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and strategies.
- Must have excellent negotiation skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently or as a part of a highly professional team
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using business management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidate must be able to successfully complete a background investigation
- Candidate must also be able to obtain/maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), which is a program managed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)

Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the storage container business, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
- Create forecast and send all KPIs to management in regards to forecast and actuals and speak to the numbers.
- Manage inventory levels, procurement, and maintenance of storage containers.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to capture them.
- Manage and lead the sales team, setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Oversee marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, and digital marketing efforts.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement customer service best practices to improve overall customer experience.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to improve profitability.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training and development needs.
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team.
Work Environment
This position typically operates in an office environment but may require visits to storage sites and customer locations.
- Some travel will be required for business meetings and customer visits.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience. $70k -80K DOE
- Benefits package includes 100% Employee paid health, dental, vision insurance, 401k plan with company match, sick and paid time off.
