• Perform all job tasks with safety and respect for the environment as the number one priority.
• Perform job tasks in a motivated, self-directed fashion independently or as part of a team.
• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair activities which may involve mechanical, structural, or rotating equipment support in a Refinery & Cogen Facility including:
  • Make new parts from prints, sketches or damaged parts
  • Bearing installation,
  • Alignment using laser alignment tool
  • Rigging
  • Preventative maintenance inspections,
  • Field assembly, and repair all Refinery equipment Pumps, Compressors, Turbines, Fans, Motors
  • In-shop rebuilds of rotating assemblies.
• Use a variety of both small and large hand and power tools, overhead cranes, hoists, man-lifts, forklifts, and related tools and moving equipment.
• Communicate to operations, and supervision verbally and in writing details regarding job tasks.
• Use CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) to document job details Receive training on or off site to be qualified to perform successfully.
• Be willing to train other personnel in any Machinists/ Millwright Tasks
• Read and comprehend drawings to troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment and systems
• Participate in meetings and training activities
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
