Hexcel is currently seeking a Temporary Maintenance Assistant for our Burlington, WA location. Hexcel Burlington is a great culture, provides a safe working environment and has a committed workforce. Summary pay range: $21.36 - $23.79 hourly wage rate.
The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:
- Work in coordination with the Maintenance team to complete preventative maintenance orders which fall within the skill purview of the role.
- Work in coordination with the Maintenance team to complete fundamental tasks for corrective/reactive work orders which fall within the skill purview of the role.
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal customers of the Maintenance Department.
- Coordinate, schedule and replace dust collection and air intake filters on production equipment.
- Track and organize new and used air intake filters.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma (or GED equivalent) required.
- Two years of facility experience in a factory environment.
- Must be willing to comply with company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to certify for safe operation of a floor cleaner, forklift, and scissor lift operation.
- Ability to occasionally lift items no greater than 50 lbs. Be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Must be willing to work independently without direct supervision. Must also be able to work well with others and provide support to all teams in the plant.
