Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon has partnered with a local law firm representing individuals and businesses in general civil and domestic matters focusing the practice in the areas of family law, personal injury, bankruptcy and business. 

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide crucial administrative support to our attorneys and contribute to the efficient operation of our firm.

What you get to do:

• Coordinate, investigate and management of various general practice cases, mostly family law and estate matter.

• Handle a case from beginning to end, write various types of correspondence, communicate with clients, other parties and attorneys, and answer discovery requests

What you need to be successful:

• Required skill in computers and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent verbal and written communication skill

• Strong ability to type.

• Good organizational skills

• Ability to balance work on multiple projects simultaneously under pressure to meet deadlines

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00AM – 4:00PM

Pay: $24.00
