As an Accounting Clerk placed through Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon, you will support a water damage restoration company in Skagit County by managing essential daily financial operations. In this role, you’ll handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, QuickBooks Online data entry, and bookkeeping cleanup to keep client financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. Your work ensures smooth, reliable accounting processes and supports the company’s overall operational efficiency.

What you get to do:

• Accounts Payable Processing: Enter vendor invoices, verify accuracy, prepare payments, and maintain vendor files.

• Accounts Receivable Support: Create customer invoices, apply payments, track aging, and follow up on outstanding balances.

• QuickBooks Online Data Entry: Record transactions, categorize expenses, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate ledgers.

• Bookkeeping Cleanup: Assist with correcting historical data, organizing accounts, and bringing financial records up to date.

• Financial Record Maintenance: File, organize, and update accounting documents and digital records.

• General Administrative Support: Assist with office tasks related to accounting and client documentation. 

What you need to be successful:

• Experience with QuickBooks Online required

• Knowledge of A/P and A/R processes

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM 

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 (DOE)
