Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is recruiting for a reliable, detail‑oriented Facilities Technician to support a high‑tech facility that manufactures solar panels. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment across production floors, offices, and common areas. What you get to do:

• Clean, sanitize and stock paper supplies in restrooms, break room and common areas

• Sweep and mop restrooms, break room, common areas, other areas as needed

• Dispose of trash and recyclables from restrooms, break room, common areas, and production line in accordance with Toward Zero Waste regulations

• Process materials for packaging reuse program, including vacuuming, and brushing of the module corner protector pieces; and packaging the pieces into boxes for reuse

• Outside grounds maintenance including trash pickup, ground drain cleaning and sweeping of walkways and shipping areas

• Ensure that parking lot is free of litter and debris

• Ensure that sanitation and quality standards are being met

• Ability to read and write in English

• Other duties as assigned by management 

What you need to be successful:

• Working knowledge cleaning products used for cleaning and sanitation

• Ability to paint and repair walls

• High level of attention to detail to ensure that sanitation and quality standards are being met

• Ability to follow directions and work independently

• Knowledge and use of small hand power tools, snow blower, pressure washer

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 (DOE)
