Express Employment Professionals in Mount Vernon has partnered with a locally owned and operated cold storage company to recruit for their next forklift driver.

Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload pallets. Forklifts are essential for efficiently transporting goods within the cold storage facility.

What you get to do:

• Transport finished boxes, totes, palletized product safely from production lines into cold storage • Set-up the production lines each morning with pallets, trash totes, ice totes, boxes, packaging material, prior to the start of production. • During production the driver will be responsible for removing finished product, trash totes, and recycle cardboard, change ice totes, and other duties as necessary. • Keep a written tally of all products both taken from and returned to cold storage by location • Driver must ensure that the product being placed into cold storage needs to be properly stacked so product is not damaged • Remove all products from the line, both finished cases, or totes plus any partial cases, or totes and return all to the correct location in the cold storage after shift

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Day shift

Pay: $21.16
