We are recruiting an Accounting Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department with various tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

What you get to do:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handle payroll operations.
• Perform general bookkeeping tasks.
• Enter billing and credit card charges into QuickBooks.
• Audit open item receipts and accounts payable aging.
• File accounts payable documents.
• Process payroll.
• Conduct check runs.
• Make bank deposits.
• Oversee petty cash management.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Review contracts.
• Coordinate approved contract schedules with job scheduling.
• File state agency permits for upcoming projects.
• Maintain essential business documents.
• Prepare quarterly and year-end tax filings.
• Generate annual 1099 forms.
• Answer and direct phone calls.

What you need to be successful:

• QuickBooks Software Proficiency
• AP and AR Experience
• General Accounting Experience
• Some Tax Preparation Experience

Pay: $27.00

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00AM - 4:30PM
