Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon has partnered with a family-owned business with locations throughout the country who offers a complete product line and maintains a huge inventory of commercial and industrial insulation products to recruit for their next Industrial Machine Operator.

As an Industrial Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality insulation products by sewing together various materials and fabrics. Your attention to detail, precision, and expertise in sewing techniques will directly contribute to the overall effectiveness and durability of their insulation products. You will work within a team of skilled professionals to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

What you get to do:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch together insulation materials, fabrics, and components according to specific patterns and instructions.
• Ensure precise measurements and alignment while sewing to achieve consistent product quality.
• Follow designated sewing techniques, patterns, and layouts provided by the company.
• Prepare materials, fabrics, and components for sewing by cutting, trimming, and positioning them correctly based on production requirements.
• Inspect materials for defects, flaws, or inconsistencies before sewing to prevent product defects.
• Monitor the quality of stitched products, checking for proper alignment, tension, and overall appearance
• Identify and report any defects, inconsistencies, or sewing machine malfunctions to supervisors for corrective action.

What you need to be successful:

• Ability to learn to operate industrial sewing machine
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistent quality standards.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work with sewing equipment for extended periods.

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Pay: $21.00
