We are partnering with a local cold storage company to look for their next Forklift Driver/Dock worker. As a forklift driver/dock worker, you would play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement, storage, and handling of various products within their facility.

What you get to do:

• Directly responsible for moving product to and from warehouses, trucks, railcars, and vessels as well as for the care and handling of customer product • Ensure that safety is first and foremost for all employees • Storing product in the warehouses in the most safe and efficient manner possible • Learning and following all SOPs associated with your zone and facility • Truck shipping procedure • Understanding optics Scanner functions and operation • Double checking counts for both inbound and outbound shipments • Supporting Lead person to minimize wait times for both scheduled and unscheduled trucks • Completing the required compulsory and recommended training for your area • Welcome employees, customers, vendors and truck drivers • Be in direct daily communication with the Zone Lead person and Team Lead • Report any employee issues • Conduct a daily Safety inspection on your assigned Forklift or Pallet jack before beginning operation • Notify Zone Lead person or Foreperson of mechanical problems to submit work order • Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out policy • Stage and pick product following Zone Lead person direction to reduce truck wait times • Learn Optics Scanner • Continually scan product to docks, through doors and into locations to prevent product from becoming lost • Query line cards and locations for placement accuracy • Report damage to product or the facilities within 30 minutes to the Zone Team Lead or Lead person

What you need to be successful: • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects and tasks

Pay: $17.68

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:00AM to 3:30PM
