Police Officer - Entry Level

The City of Burlington is currently accepting Police Officer - Entry Level applications for future openings with the department. To apply for an Entry Level position, you must contact Public Safety Testing at publicsafetytesting.com.

Following the Public Safety Testing process, you may be contacted by the City of Burlington. Upon notification by the Burlington Civil Service Examiner, you will be asked to fill out and return the attached Police Officer application. Do not fill out the application form until notified of instructions by the Civil Service Examiner.
Qualifications
MINIMUM STANDARDS 1. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age for appointment. 2. Minimum education level of high school diploma or GED certification required. 3. Applicant must meet Public Safety Civil Service Commission physical standards. 4. United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is required for appointment. 5. A valid Washington State Driver’s License is required prior to being hired.
