Youth Development Professional - Concrete
Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County
Part-Time (18–22 hrs/week) | $20.20–$21.43 DOE/DOQ (+$2.00/hour Concrete location differential)
There's something special about working with youth in a small community. You get to know them. You learn what makes them laugh, what gets them excited, and sometimes, what they need before they quite know how to say it themselves.
We're looking for a Youth Development Professional who wants to be part of that.
At our Concrete Club, you'll help create a place where school-age youth and teens feel welcome, supported, and excited to show up. One day that might mean jumping into a game, the next helping turn an idea into an activity, encouraging someone through a challenge, or simply being the steady adult who notices when a youth needs a little extra encouragement.
You don't need to come in knowing everything. You do need to enjoy working with youth, bring positive energy, and be willing to learn. Bring your own interests and passions, too-we love when staff finds ways to turn what they enjoy into experiences youth can get excited about.
Our values of Fun, Respect, Integrity, Community, and Acceptance aren't just words on a wall. They're how we want youth and staff to experience the Club every day.
This position requires availability Monday through Friday. Concrete will be your primary location, but you'll also serve as backup support for our Sedro-Woolley Club when needed, so reliable transportation between locations is important.
If you're looking for more than just a job-and like the idea of becoming part of a Club and community where your presence can genuinely matter-we'd love to hear from you.
Please review the Job Description in full, including the position requirements and expectations, prior to applying.
