Program Coordinator
Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County
Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | $22.96–$24.36 DOE/DOQ | Comprehensive Benefits Package

Some kids need a place to belong. Some families need someone who understands. Some staff need a leader who can guide, encourage, and step in when things get tough.

As a Program Coordinator, you'll help create the kind of environment where all three can thrive.

This isn't a position where you sit behind a desk all day. One moment you may be helping a teacher solve a challenge, the next you're supporting a family, covering a classroom, preparing for licensing requirements, or celebrating a milestone with a child who just accomplished something they didn't think they could do.

We're looking for someone who leads with compassion, communicates with empathy, and understands that quality programs are built on strong relationships. Someone who can balance structure with flexibility, hold high expectations while supporting others, and remain calm when plans change, which, in youth programs, they often do.

You'll help support licensed childcare programs, mentor and develop staff, partner with families, and help create safe, engaging spaces where children can learn, grow, and build resilience. This role touches multiple age groups and requires someone who genuinely enjoys helping children succeed while also supporting adults' professional growth.

If you're passionate about youth development, believe every child deserves a champion, and want a role where your leadership can have a lasting impact on children and staff alike, we'd love to hear from you.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in licensed childcare, youth development, or education who is ready to take the next step in supporting programs, strengthening teams, and helping create exceptional experiences for youth and families.

If this sounds like the kind of work that energizes you, we encourage you to apply.
