Youth Adventure Guide
Peak Pursuits - Skagit County
Seasonal - Part-Time | up to 29 hours/week
$22.96–$25.31 DOE/DOQ
Some kids discover confidence in a classroom. Others discover it on a trail, around a campfire, in a kayak, or while trying something new for the very first time.
Peak Pursuits is looking for a Youth Adventure Guide who believes the outdoors should be full of discovery, excitement, challenge, and fun. This seasonal role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys outdoor adventure and wants to help young people build confidence, curiosity, resilience, leadership, and connection through unforgettable experiences.
We're looking for someone who can make the outdoors feel exciting and welcoming. Someone who knows how to turn a simple hike into an adventure, encourages youth through challenges, and helps kids see the world around them in new ways. Whether it's hiking, biking, paddling, climbing, camping, outdoor games, or adventure-based activities, this role is about creating moments youth will remember long after the day ends.
No two days look exactly the same. Some programs take place locally, while others may include off-site trips or overnight camping. Flexibility, positive energy, sound judgment, and a strong sense of teamwork are all important in this role.
You do not need to know everything on day one. Training is provided, and we're excited to bring in someone who is eager to learn, grow, and share their passion for the outdoors with youth.
If this sounds like the kind of work you want to be part of, we encourage you to apply. Be sure to review the full job description to learn more about the role, expectations, and adventure ahead.
