Birch Equipment is seeking a detail oriented Accounts Payable / Office Manager to join our growing team. This is a fast‑paced role ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, people, and operations.

This position reports directly to the Controller and CEO.

Responsibilities:
· Manage full AP cycle, including bi-monthly high-volume check runs from PO matching (200-300 PO’s), reconciling vendor statements, verifying data, processing vendor invoices to printing checks
· Request and track W-9's from vendors
· Process 1099’s report timely for year end
· Maintain confidentiality of financial data
· Resolve and respond to vendors regarding A/P via phone and e-mail
· Main phone operator for corporate phone number, direct calls to appropriate positions
· Office supplies purchasing and distribution amongst all locations
· Support cost analysis, negotiate best pricing available
· Report building and maintenance
· Special projects and data entry
· Opportunities to work with teams in various other projects.
Critical Skills / Requirements:
· Accounts Payable experience required
· Working knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
· QuickBooks experience preferred
· Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
· Excellent organization, attention to detail & time management
· Professional communication skills
· Self-starter who meets deadlines
· Valid WA State Driver’s License
· Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation)
· Drug free; must pass pre‑employment and random drug testing
· Positive attitude and sense of humor
